If you possess an interest in them and would care to inquire more, I would greatly suggest for you to listen to their two incredible albums, Spain, and Spain Again. Really worth your time. So, a new hotmail address was created for me. After some weeks, I said: I can't use this service anymore, it sucks. MSN, like Yahoo!, adds a message ads on each mail I send. Gmail doesn't. Messages aren't threaded, and to search for the origin of a mail, it takes me about 10 minutes. It is really slow. So, I told the bosses I will use Gmail. Unfortunately, you can't transfer automatically mails addressed to your ms account into other mail.Microsoft is like the AIDS virus, once you get it, you'll have it through the rest of your days, even if you hate it.Now, I have to manage the 2 accounts.

The company I’m working for uses microsoft’s services as standard. Smalltalk traits don't have state, for example. Now it's true that I used the Smalltalk traits paper to explain why we needed roles in Perl 6, but I'd already had them in mind way before I read the paper. At best, it's a case of simultaneous discovery.

Roles didn’t come from Smalltalk. Smalltalk traits don’t have state, for example. I very much like this pragmatic approach of adopting the right strategy for the problem. OO has design strategies both built in and as part of its surrounding culture. It was those strategies and techniques which I was missing while up to my elbows in arbitrarily referencing and dereferencing variables for no very apparent reason...

Rija, that’s a really thorough, informative response, thank you.
